looking for some advice
Hi, I've been looking around for a bit for a 300ZX TT. I finally found one that caught my eye...was wondering what you experts thought of it.
1991 300ZX TT 5spd w/ 86K miles $13,200 555 nismo injectors 1k miles ago JWT sport 500 turbos 2k miles ago, 1k miles were all at 8 psi. jspec front bumper intake GD dwn pipes test pipes hardpipes GReddy Profec B boost controller hks hipower exhaust super hicas elimination stage 4 six puck clutch tuned for pump gas and street ECU by Z tuner stock wheels with good tires. OEM parts in the last 3K miles new head gasket all new gaskets all new seals all new oil lines new OEM flywheel new water pump new oil pump new timing belt new 02 sensors all belts new Brand new wiring harness The mods are nice, but I really like the service done to it. Seems pretty well maintained. Thanks for the help :) |

Its a couple grand too high, but it's definitely a nice find. Might negotiate a few bucks off it, but it's not too bad of a deal.

Is it really overpriced? I'm seeing stock TT's w/ stock turbos with 100k+ miles selling for $11k-$13k in Georgia. I was thinking this was a pretty awesome deal...What do you think it's worth?
Oh and, he listed this on 3ZC and said he just tested the compression and got 155-160 on all cylinders. But I was looking at some of his older posts and he said had 135-140 on all cylinders. Now...could replacing his head gaskets change it so much? And is there any reason why he'd change all the gaskets? I've been looking around and not too many talk about replacing the gaskets. Thanks again [/quote] im gona move to Georgia then when i look to sell mine, sellers market down there. and if his head gasket was leaking then ya it would affect the compression a lot. |
