» HKS ALC I & ALC II Installation - Page 3 of 3

STEP 5 : Reassembly

1) You passed the first round of testing, so now it's time to reassemble everything. The best place I found for the ALC to sit is right under the ECU. There's plenty of room under it.

2) Put the TCM back into its place, and reinstall the three 10MM bolts, as indicated in the photo below.

3) Now for the last tricky part, the extra wiring..... There's a space between the TCM and the false floor standoff, which is a perfect fit for the extra wiring. VERY carefully tuck the wiring into that space. Make sure none of the wires become pinched between the metal and where the wooden cover sits.

4) Make sure the wires aren't sticking above the metal cover stand either. Otherwise, they'll chafe on the wooden panel and wear.

5) Now reinstall the wooden cover. Make sure its not sitting on wires and sitting flush.

6) Now take it out for the final test! :) Repeat the steps from the first test. After passing those tests again, give her hell! You're all finished!!!
